Grace Chen

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Grace co-founded Presidio Park after spending over a decade advising small business founders, starting with her immigrant father. Her father came to the US in the 90s with $100 he'd borrowed. After he lost his job during the 2000 crisis, he started a small business reselling semiconductor parts, and as a young girl, Grace began working alongside him. From humble beginnings in their apartment, her dad's company now serves some of the

world's largest technology providers. That small business changed the trajectory of her life and proved a testament to the power of scrappiness, tenacity and hard work. Her dad is her greatest role model and her inspiration to support founders like him.

Grace is a former founder, operator and investor. Most recently, she was CFO and Chief of Staff at FortressIQ, a software company, that helped Fortune 500 customers across supply chain, healthcare, and financial services industries adopt automation to streamline backend processes. There, she built and led their Finance, People, and Customer Success teams, helping grow the company from a team of 10 to 150+  before helping drive its ultimate sale to a strategic, yielding a 10x+ return for investors. As a former investor at Summit Partners, she partnered with founders of tech and tech-enabled services businesses, supporting their growth through all facets of sales expansion and talent strategy. Earlier in her career, she founded Pixi, an online rental space marketplace for hair salons and spas, which she successfully sold in 2017.

Grace completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Business Administration, and later earned her MBA at Harvard Business School.

Colin Bourdin

174857_edited.png
Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Colin co-founded Presidio Park to follow in his father and grandfather’s entrepreneurial footsteps as a business owner. Colin’s father founded and ran real estate brokerage and development companies for over 40 years. Colin’s grandfather immigrated from France to the US after World War 1 and founded an automotive material handling systems business in Detroit. He led the company as CEO for 30+ years, serving the world’s

largest OEMs including Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler. Despite the company’s success, Colin’s grandfather shut down his business when he retired because none of his children wanted to move back to Detroit to take over the company. Colin is deeply motivated to partner with retiring business owners like his grandfather to sustain and grow the businesses and communities they’ve dedicated their lives to.

Colin started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi in the Industrials Group where he was the lead analyst on numerous billion-dollar public company M&A deals including the largest trucking acquisition in history at the time. After Citi, Colin joined TPG Capital as a software-focused investor in the firm’s credit and structured equity group, TPG Sixth Street Partners. Looking to get experience in building and growing new products, Colin then joined Apple as a strategy and business development lead where he helped launch and scale Apple’s first media services businesses through leading go-to-market strategy, global B2B partnerships, and new product initiatives for Apple TV+ and Apple Music.

Colin completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and later graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Our team of entrepreneurs and builders has collectively partnered with hundreds of business owners and invested over $200m in founders. We believe in empowering owners, sustainable business growth, and long-term impact.
